Description
Hosts Not Being Marked At-Risk or Safe After Scanning

Scope
Version:   All
Solution
Version:  All

Issue:  After a scan completes, host does not get marked At-Risk if the host fails the scan.  Likewise, if a host marked At-Risk passes a scan it previously failed, it does not get marked Safe.

This is expected behavior if the scan is configured for Audit Only.  See Solution 2594.

Solution:
Change the configuration of the scan to mark At-Risk or Safe when applicable.
1.  In the Administrative UI, navigate to Policy > Policy Configuration.
2.  In the menu on the left click the + sign next to Endpoint Compliance to open it.
3.  Click the Scans option to select it.
4.  On the Scans View, select an existing Scan and click Modify.
5.  In the General tab, change from Audit Only to the desired option in the Remediation drill-down.  Refer to the Online Help for option descriptions.
6.  Click OK to save the scan.
