Description
An email triggered by a specific alarm was expected but wasn't received.

Solution
1.  Verify the alarm was triggered.
- Navigate to Logs > Alarms.
- Filter on the desired alarm and time frame.
- Check to see if a frequency was set that would never allow the the alarm to be triggered.

2a. If the alarm was not triggered, verify if the event was generated.
- Navigate to Logs > Events.
- Filter on the desired alarm and time frame.
- If the event was not generated, verify the event is enabled.  Navigate to Logs > Event Management.
- If the event was triggered, verify the event is mapped to an alarm.  Navigate to Logs > Event to Alarm Mappings.

2b. If the alarm was triggered but no email was received:
- Verify the email was not filtered by the email server.
- Verify email from the appliance is working as expected.  Refer to related KB article below.
- Check the output.master log in the Server or Control Server for instances of "Failed to send email" messages.  Contact Support for assistance.
