DescriptionDownloading Agent Packages for Testing
SolutionTo install an agent on a machine for testing, the agent package must first be downloaded to Network entry.
Note: At this time, it is not possible to access the Agent Packages without first downloading them to Network Sentry from Bradford's FTP site. New packages may be downloaded without distributing to hosts as long as the following apply:
1. Existing Endpoint Compliance Policies specify the agent version and do not list Latest Persistent Agent or Latest Dissolvable Agent. This can be verified by navigating to Policy > Policy Configuration and reviewing the Endpoint Policy Configurations.
2. Under Systems > Settings > Persistent Agent > Agent Update, the option Update Windows Agents to Version is either unchecked or another agent version is selected from the drill-down.
Once the package is downloaded to Network Sentry, the agent can be installed on a machine for testing. For instructions, see Online Help topic Download The Persistent Agent For Custom Distribution.
