Description
Location on Host Where Persistent Agent Settings are Stored

Solution


In some environments, it may be necessary to change specific configurations for the agent.  These configurations are stored on the end machine hosting the agent.

There are two locations where Persistent Agent Settings are stored:

Default Settings - Upon installation of the Persistent Agent, the default settings are written to the vendor locations indicated in the chart below.  
Windows:  (Registry Key) HKLMSoftwareBradford NetworksClient Security Agent
Note:  on 64-bit operating systems in RegEdit, these registry values will appear in the following key: HKLMSoftwarewow6432node
Mac OSX:  /Library/Preferences/com.bradfordnetworks.bndaemon
Linux:  /etc/xdg/com.bradfordnetworks/PersistentAgent.conf

Policy Settings - Used when pushing settings via software.  These settings take precedence over the Default Settings.  Policy Settings can only be changed via software push. 
Windows:  (Registry Key) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREPoliciesBradford NetworksPersistent Agent
