MacOS Agent Does Not Communicate When Using Internally Issued SSL Certificates

Solution

Version: Agents 4.0.x - 5.0.3

Issue: MacOS Persistent Agent will not connect to Network Sentry with security enabled if using an internally issued SSL certificate.

The macOS Persistant Agent is not loading internally issued SSL certificates in the right locations on the host. This prevents the host from trusting the agent connection to Network Sentry.

This issue does not affect environments where a third party public certificate is used.

Solution: To be addressed in the next agent release.
