How to Restart the On-Prem Analytics Server

Solution

Version: Analytics 5.x

The following procedure restarts the Analytics services. This procedure does not interrupt network communication to the server.

Procedure:

1. Access the Analytics CLI and login as root.

2. Restart the Analytics web service (wildfly). Type

service bsc-wildfly restart

3. Validate services are running. Type

service bsc-wildfly status

“Active: active (running)” should be returned when the services are up.
