Description
Some wireless solutions offer a configuration where AP's managed by a controller behave autonomously when the controller is down.  During normal operation, the controller sends RADIUS to NAC on behalf of all the AP's the controller manages.  If the controller goes down, the AP's start sending RADIUS traffic to NAC directly.

FortiNAC does not currently support this configuration.  Various functions such as L2 Polling (which affects concurrent license management) and changing VLANs will not work as expected.
