Technical Note: Access data for custom reports

Description

Data can be obtained from the database in order to build custom reports. 

Solution

There are two methods available to access the database:

• REST API (recommended):  For details, refer to chapter "FortiNAC REST API" in the Administration and Operation Guide in the Document Library or in Online Help. 
  
• MySQL queries via SSH tunnel:  For details see attached document below.
