A new agent ID is assigned when upgrading agents from 2.6.56
Known Problems
Problem
When upgrading Windows agents from v2.6.56 to a newer version such as 3.1.0.10, a new ID is sometimes assigned to an existing machine.
Solution
This issue was found to happen when the existing v2.6.56 agent had a password containing a "+" character, which was not being processed correctly by the Collector Server v3.1. This resulted in the new agent login failing, and being assigned a new ID.
This issue has been resolved in ZoneFox v3.2.
