Solution
1) Configure the SMTP server
This configuration can be found under System -> Settings -> Services
2) Configure the Alert Policy

1) Configure the SMTP server
2) Configure the Alert Policy
This configuration can be found under System -> Alert -> Alert Policy -> Create New -> Include the “Events” needed by the ADC to generate an email alert.
In this test case, an alert will be generated when any configuration is being “deleted”.
3) Configure Alert Actions
This configuration can be found under System -> Alert -> Alert Actions
Select the “Alert Policy” which was configured earlier under the Email section.
4) Test result
The email can be triggered alert by deleting a static route entry on the FortiADC.
