Description
This article describes how to import a local certificate into FortiADC.

Solution
Important Notes: The certificate must be prepared/purchased before applying the solution given in this KB. If no certificate associated, purchase a certificate from any authorized Certificate Authorities.

The step is as follows:

 
1) Login to FortiADC and go to:
System -> Certificate -> Manage Certificates -> Local Certificate -> Import
 
 
2) Select local certificate type. Hereby is the File format supported for each type:
 
For Certificate type:
 
 
Provide the certificate file which is '.cert' format together with the key file with format '.key'
Insert the Pass-phrase of the certificate file and click 'OK'.
 
For PKCS12 Certificate type:
 
 
Select the file with extension '.pfx'.
Insert the passphrase of this PKCS12 file during the file is being generated.
 
3) Check the certificate once the above steps are completed. It should appear under the local certificate with the Name inserted during the import process.
