Description
This article describes how to fix import policy issue because firmware version is different with ADOM version.

Solution
Unable to import the policies and object and getting error:




Check if the unit was installed in different ADOM version, example in this case the device is added in ADOM 6.0.




Unit is installed in the highest firmware version because FortiManager, by default, installs units to highest available default ADOM root because ADOM feature is disabled by default:




To resolve this, turn on the ADOM feature and move the device to the correct ADOM:



Note:
Once ADOM is enable, admin session will log out.
Admin will need to login again

After login, select an ADOM:




Create a new ADOM for a correct version and move unit to this ADOM:






Check the Device is under the correct ADOM :






Now Policy and objects can be imported to policy and object database without any errors:
