Description
This article explains how to synchronize FortiManager zone interface when change on the FortiGate zone interface are processed.
Solution
When a member on the FortiGate zone interface is added or removed, use the following method to sync interface setting.
Existing FortiManager zone interface members.
VPN interface test3 is removed from zone1 and new interface port5 on zone is added.Here is the way to sync the interface:
1) Ensure the correct ADOM.
2) Go to Device Manager -> Device & Groups -> Managed Devices, select the FortiGate unit and select 'Import Policy'.3) Enable 'Add mappings for all unused device interfaces' to sync the interface.4) Select 'Next>' until Finish.
To do a checking:
- Go to Policy & Objects -> Object Configurations.
- Go to Zone/Interface -> Interface.
- Select '>' under zone interface.
