Description
This article explains how to Resolve the issue 'The Transfer attempted appeared to contain a Data Leak', an error which appears on browser when DLP is enabled with certain file types selected to block.

Solution
This error appears due to blocking the File type Batch File (BAT) and Encoded Data (Base 64) in DLP profiles.
These files types are required by Windows operating systems and Google search engines for their internal process.
It is Recommended to remove or exempt These files types in the DLP profile in order to get rid of mentioned error message.
Google uses base64 encoding to do the search.
Base64 schemes represent binary data in an ASCII string format (English alphabet, common punctuation chars, control chars) by translating it into a base-64 representation.
This basically means that all kind of characters (ASCII, UTF8, UTF16…) with control characters can be mapped for example in English alphabet a-z, A-Z, 0-9 to be able to read all on screen, or even print it out.

Base64 encoding schemes are commonly used when there is a need to encode binary data that needs be stored and transferred over media that are designed to deal with textual data.
This is to ensure that the data remains intact without modification during transport.

Hence blocking the base64 file type, will affect the Google search.

Removing the Batch File (bat) and Encoded Data (base64) from DLP file types will Resolve the issue.
