Description
This article describes what to do when FortiVoice is using wrong format of ringing tone through SIP trunk.

Scope
For version 5.3.

Solution

Follow the steps below if  the FortiVoice is using wrong format of ringing tone for inbound call through SIP trunk.

 

1) In FortiVoice Gui go to Trunks -> VoIP -> SIP, edit 'SIP trunk' , select checkbox 'Inband ringtone' to disable it and select 'OK'.

2) In FortiVoice Gui go to Phone System -> Advanced Settings -> SIP, select checkbox 'Enable early media:' to disable it and select 'Apply'.
