This article describes how to register UC desktop with FortiVoice.

For version 6.0.1 and above.
Solution
1) Login to FortiVoice, go to Extension -> Extension.
Create a new extension.
Enter the extension number and select 'Soft Phone' tab in Device Settings.
Increase the license allocation to 1.

1) Login to FortiVoice, go to Extension -> Extension.
Create a new extension.
Enter the extension number and select 'Soft Phone' tab in Device Settings.
Increase the license allocation to 1.
2) Edit the Extension created, select 'View Login Information'.
3) It will prompt for the login information.
4) Open the UC Desktop on the PC and enter the information.
Select 'Login' to register the FortiFone.
5) FortiFone will be registered and show the extension in the FortiFone.
