Technical Note: Add and modify device type icons

Description

This article provides steps to add, modify and delete custom device type icons.

Scope
Version: 8.3 and higher

Solution
1.  In the Administration UI, navigate to System > Settings > Identification > Device Types.
2.  Click Add.
3.  Provide a name for the new Device Type.

4.  Upload an Icon (small or large) or click Select From Archive.

5.  Click OK to save.

Icon can now be used when registering devices.  See section Register a host as a device in the Administration Guide.
