Technical Tip: How to save and download debug file

Description
This article describes how to save copies of debug file, and download it, in order to provide for TAC support.

Scope
For version 5.3 and above.

Solution
The FortiADC debug feature allows to compile a set of debug info.

Steps to save and download debug file:

1) Go to System -> Debug.

2) Select 'Save Debug File'.

3) Select 'Ok' to acknowledge pop up message box.

4) Select 'Close' to acknowledge pop up message box.

5) Wait Running status change from 'Running' to 'Ready', then start to download the debug file by selecting the download icon.

Note.
Debug file contain substantial amount of debug information. As such, file size has not to be small in size.
