Description
Customers have reported an issue where clients roaming between Access Points (AP's) are assigned the wrong VLAN.  This has been observed in configurations where there is more than one Aruba controller and the device model in Topology is configured for L2 Roles.

When the client roams from the AP which they initially connected, the controller does not send a new access-request to the appliance.  Instead,
the controller applies VLAN’s that are cached from a previous assignment per BSSID.  the cached information may not be correct.

Solution

This behaviour is Aruba related.  Aruba is currently investigating.
