Description
FortiAP and FortiSwitch can be authorized in the Security Fabric with one selection.
After connecting a FortiAP or FortiSwitch to an authorized FortiGate, it will automatically be listed in the topology tree.

If the default auto-auth-extension-device settings on the FortiAP or FortiSwitch have been modified, manual authorization in the Security Fabric is not required.

This article describes how to add FortiAP and FortiSwitch to Security Fabric.

Solution
For more information about configuring FortiAPs, see Configuring the FortiGate interface to manage FortiAP units and Discovering, authorizing, and de authorizing FortiAP.
