Description
The appliance software is dependent upon certain applications embedded within the CentOS 7 operating system.  Fortinet relies on CentOS/Red Hat to update and maintain these applications.  They are not maintained separately.

Tomcat
Currently Tomcat v7 is used (included with CentOS 7).  There are no plans to upgrade unless CentOS 7 upgrades Tomcat.

The Tomcat version can be viewed in the appliance CLI using the sysinfo -v command.

> sysinfo -v | grep -i tomcat
     Tomcat version: tomcat-7.0.76-11.el7_7.noarch
