Description
This article describes how FortiSandbox job is distributed when it is operating in HC mode.

Solution
1) The distribution logic for FortiSandbox is based on the number of pending jobs and the number of clones of each unit.

2) The default processing power of the master node is 50%, which means that only half of its VM clone will process jobs.

3) The processing power of the master node can be checked using the following command:

#hc-master –l
File scan is enabled with 50 processing capacity

4) The processing power of master node can be modified using the following command:

#hc-master –s<10-100>

5) If all of the cluster nodes are the same model (Eg. 1 master, 1 primary slave, 2 regular slave), the job distribution % is close to the following value:

14.3%, 28.6%, 28.6%, 28.6%

6) It is not possible to configure a manual distribution of jobs.

7) To have a particular cluster node process more jobs, ensure that the number of VM clones for that unit is higher than the other nodes in the cluster.
