This article describes how to download logs from FortiCloud.
Solution
When FortiCloud logging is enabled, download the log files from FortiCloud.
- Login to forticloud.com – Network Overview.

Select the Serial Number, and choose Analysis.

Select Logview –> Traffic –> Traffic Logs.

Select 'Log Files' on the top right.

Choose the retention time.

Checklist the needed files and select 'Download' at the top right.
A free FortiCloud account can only save logs for the last 7 days.
In newer versions, it is not possible to download logs with a free account.
There are changes made recently from Aug 1st week or 2nd week for devices without paid subscriptions with respect to remote access, log download, and event handlers. It is strongly encouraged to consider obtaining the FortiGate cloud subscription license to gain access to the features mentioned above.
