Technical Note: How to show browsing quota on the Fortinet bar

Description

In FortiOS v5.0 or higher it is possible to enable the Fortinet bar on the web page to show the remaining browsing quota.

The Quota has to be enabled on the web filter monitored categories, and the web filter has to be applied on the firewall policy to enable Proxy Options.In the current design the Fortinet bar is implemented only for HTTP traffic, the option is not available for encrypted HTTPS traffic.

Policy & Objects > Policy > Proxy Options > Web Options > Add Fortinet Bar
