Description
This article describes why error 'Access denied: Insufficient license points' is appearing while deploying FortiExtender on FortiExtender Cloud.

Solution



This error appears because as of March 29, 2020, the FortiExtender Cloud free tier licenses are no longer offered.
This service allowed to register and manage 3 FortiExtenders, free of charge, in FortiExtender Cloud.
The units that have been managed for free previously will continue to work with their last uploaded configurations.

To add more units, purchase a license for each new device through authorized Fortinet resellers and distributors.
For licensing information, contact the primary Fortinet service provider.
