Description

This article describes how to disable remote access from FortiCloud to FortiGate.

Scope

FortiCloud, FortiGate.

Solution

Users will be able to access FortiGate remotely from FortiCloud when the central-management is configured to FortiGuard:

To disable remote access from the FortiCloud portal to FortiGate, configure the central-management settings to none with the following command:

config system central-management

set type none

end

Once the respective has been configured, Remote Access is not visible as an option, and the management tunnel will be showing as down:

Disabling the central management will not impact log submission to FortiGate Cloud if that has been configured.
