Issues may be faced when trying to authenticate users with MSCHAP. When using the Default Authentication method, FortiOS tries to authenticate users against MSCHAPv2, CHAP and PAP. MSCHAP is never used: only MSCHAPv2.
To use only MSCHAP as an authentication method scheme, specify it manually.
