Description

This article describes how to make the remote user group appear for a new administrator.

The present user group is configured as follows:

When attempting to designate the remote group as a new administrator, the option doesn't seem to be available in the Remote User Group list.

Scope

FortiGate v6.4.0 and above.

Solution

For the GUI:

Go to User & Authentication -> User groups.

Edit the remote user group.
Remove the members.
Retain solely the remote groups.
Select 'OK'.

2. Go to system -> Administrators.

Select 'Create new'.
Add the remote group as a new administrator:
