Description

This article describes that the Implicit deny policy is not displayed in the Firewall policy and how to enable it when it is not dipslayed.

Scope

FortiGate v6.x.x and v7.x.x.

Solution

When the Implicit policy is not seen in the firewall policy, it is probably because the 'Implicit Firewall Policy' feature is not enabled under System -> Feature Visibility.

Here are the steps:

Go to 'System'.
select 'Feature Visibility'.
Make sure the 'Implicit firewall policy' is enabled. If not, enable it. (by default it is enabled.)
Apply the changes.
