Description This article describes how to use FortiManager ADOM revision during migration.
Scope FortiManager.
Solution
  1. Perform a backup FortiManager config.
  2. Use ADOM revision as a record before performing any changes during migration activity.

  1. After creating an ADOM revision, it is possible to make changes to FortiManager during migration activity.

  1. After migrated, it is possible to create another ADOM revision.

  1. It is possible to revert the changes by using the previous ADOM revision.

Note that:

  • Keeping ADOM revision will increase the size of the FortiManager backup config file.
  • It can be reverted for address and firewall policy information at FortiManager as mentioned in number 4.
