SolutionGoal: Changing IP addresses on Network Sentry appliances to move them to a different site in a different network.
Instructions:
1.) Stop Network Sentry processes. On Control Server type
shutdownCampusMgr
2.) Connect eth0 of the Control Server to a dumb hub.
3.) Connect eth0 of the Application Server to the same dumb hub.
4.) Connect a laptop to the same dumb hub.
5.) Configure the laptop in the same IP range as the Control Server and the Application Server.
6.) SSH to the Application Server IP as root.
7.) Execute the following command to enable tomcat-admin service.
service tomcat-admin start
Access Configuration Wizard
8.) Open a browser on the laptop and connect to the Config Wizard of the Application Server.
http://(application server ip):8080/configWizard
9.) Click OK to apply the key.
10.) Change the IP address of the application server to the new IP.
11.) Wait for the session to apply or timeout.
12.) Open a new web browser window and connect to the config wizard of Control Server.
http://(control server IP):8080/configWizard
13.) Click OK to apply the key.
14.) Click OK to get past the documentation screen.
15.) Change the IP addresses under control server and also under application server sections.
16.) Click Summary and apply config.
17.) Wait for session to timeout or complete.
18.) Change the laptop IP to the new IP address range of the Control Server and Application Server.
19.) Verify changes by going back into Config Wizard on both servers.
20.) Power down the servers and move them to the new location.

halt -p
21.) Once moved to the new location, power up the Application Server first, then the Control Server.
