Description This article describes how to correct the 'Failed to retrieve Activities' error in System -> Scheduler.
Scope FortiNAC-C / FortiNAC-F All Versions.
Solution

The following error can be disabled in System -> Scheduler due to an error in the database:

FortiNAC-C Solution:

  1. Log into the CLI as the root user.

  2. Run the command:

    scheduler -all

  3. Note the output. Look for an entry with N/A or some other malformed name in the entry. Note the ID number associated.
    Example output:

    schedule -all

  4. To remove the entry, run the command:

    schedule -delete -id <ID number>

    Example:

    schedule -delete -id 21

  5. Refresh the System -> Scheduler view.

 

FortiNAC-F Solution:

  1. Log into the CLI as the admin user.

  2. Run the command:

    execute enter-shell

  3. Run the command:

    scheduler -all

  4. Note the output. Look for an entry with N/A or some other malformed name in the entry. Note the ID number associated.
    Example output:

    schedule -all
