Description
If the error message 'Upload file is too big or invalid' is appearing, this indicates that there is insufficient free memory for storing the new firmware image file.
Workarounds.
reboot - Sufficient memory may be freed to permit the upgrade from the web-based interface.
upgrade the firmware by interrupting the boot sequence and using TFTP.

Note.
A TFTP upload will reset all configuration to the factory defaults. Ensure the backup of the FortiGate configuration before proceeding.
It is possible to restore the configuration after the upgrade.
