Cannot login to the IDM web GUI with admin username and password.

Solution

Check the URL to make sure it looks like this (where x.x.x.x represents your IDM server's IP address):
http://x.x.x.x/admin/index.php

This generally happens if you just type the IDM's IP address on the browser and hit enter. The browser will be redirected to the Sponsor login page: http://x.x.x.x/sponsor/index.php. Obviously, if you try to login as admin on this page you'll be rejected.
