Solution
A "Coord interbss handoff" message as seen on the station log, is an effect of a wireless station that has chosen to move from one BSSID to another, i.e. a "hard handoff". This can happen if:

(1) the wireless station switches form the 5GHz band -> 2.4 band or vice-versa (Ping Pong)

(2) the wireless station switches from one channel to another within the same band.

(3) the wireless station switches from one SSID to another. In each of these cases, the wireless station is moving from one BSSID to another BSSID.
