Description
Under System > Settings > System Management > License Management  the following symptoms may be experienced:

Summary panel "Serial No" Field is either blank or displays "N/A":  Expected behavior with appliances installed with older Perpetual licenses issued by Bradford Networks.  Appliances with newer Perpetual licenses issued by Fortinet should display the serial number.

License Information panel not displaying entitlements:
- Requires FortiNAC appliances to be installed with licenses that include certificates. This type of license was introduced January 1st 2020.  For more information on older keys and how to check for certificates, see related KB article below.

- Subscription licenses require access to Forticloud over TCP 443 in order to pull the entitlements.  Once retrieved, entitlements are displayed in the Dashboard of the Administration UI only.  Base key information will display under the License Management view when using Subscription licenses.  FortiNAC polls FortiCloud every 12 hours for any entitlement updates.
