Description This article describes how to delete the sub-vlan interface created under one of the VLANs from FortiLink specifically the NAC VLAN.
Scope FortiSwitch, FortiGate.
Solution

As per the below screenshot, the requirement is to delete the 'DATA' VLAN which is under the NAC.segment.fortilink VLAN.

The tree:

Fortilink----->NAC.segment.fortilink VLAN----->DATA VLAN

  • The references for the DATA VLAN should be deleted.
  • Notice that it will not be possible to delete one reference and it shows the tag that it is under Switch-Controller FortiLink settings. However, there will not be anything noticed on this, except it shows all the references for FortiLink instead.

  •  Select the Data VLAN and an option named 'VLAN Segment' will be seen then proceed and select 'DISABLED'.
  • Once the above change is applied, delete the DATA VLAN (intended VLAN to be deleted).
