Technical Tip: Switching FortiGate Cloud layout from New to Original and vice versa

Description This article describes how to change the FortiGate Cloud GUI layout from New to Original and vice versa if the change layout option does not show up in the FortiGate Cloud homepage.
Scope FortiGate Cloud.
Solution

In some cases, it will display the option to change the FortiGate Cloud layout straight from the FortiGate Cloud homepage after logging in. This can be switched by simply selecting the toggle button to choose the layout desired to be used.

However, if there is not the option mentioned above, the following steps below can be followed to change to the preferred FortiGate Cloud UI layout:

 

  1. NEW to ORIGINAL layout.

  • While in the New FortiGate Cloud layout, go to Configuration -> Account Setting -> then under Layout Setting, switch to 'Original layout'.

  •  Then select 'OK' to confirm the change of layout setting from New to Original layout.

  1. ORIGINAL to NEW layout.

    • While in the Original FortiGate Cloud layout, go to Account Setting -> then under Layout, switch to 'NEW'.

    • To commit the changes to switch to the new UI, select 'YES'.
