Description

This article describes how to fix an issue where it is not possible to manage K model FortiAPs from FortiGate v7.2 or earlier.

Scope

v7.4.3 or above.

Solution

When K models of FortiAP are installed, they will not be seen on a FortiGate running versions v7.4.3 or below. This is expected behavior.

Update the FortiGate version to v7.4.3 or above. Afterwards, the default profile will be usable for K model FortiAPs.
