Description

This article describes how read-only access will be enforced when logging in on FortiGate via FortiGate Cloud without a paid subscription. Note the notification icon 'An active FortiGate Cloud subscription could not be found. Access to this device will be read-only'.

  

Scope

FortiGate v7.0.14, v7.2.8, v7.4.2.

Solution

Subscribe for the paid subscription.

If the FortiGate firmware is updated without checking the Release notes of v7.0.14, v7.2.8, and v7.4.3:

If the customer is interested in purchasing the FortiGate Cloud Service subscription for their FortiGates, then contact the Customer Service team to request a temporary lift of the enforcement.
