Description

This article discusses the behavior where the FortiNAC-F server is unable to be added to the FortiAnalyzer for integration.

In the FortiAnalyzer GUI, under Device Manager -> Add Device, the Device Model does not auto-populate when the FortiNAC Serial Number is entered.

Affects all serial numbers for FortiNAC-F products:

FNC-MX-VM   (FNVM-MTMxxxxxxxx)
FNC-M-550F   (FN55MFTxxxxxxxxx)
FNC-CAX-VM  (FNVXCATMxxxxxxxx)
FNC-CA-700F  (FN700FTxxxxxxxxx)
FNC-CA-600F  (FN600FTxxxxxxxxx)
FNC-CA-500F  (FN500FTxxxxxxxxx)

The above serial numbers are not recognized by the FortiAnalyzer.  This will prevent FortiAnalyzer from authorizing the FortiNAC server.

For integration details, refer to the FortiAnalyzer Device Integration reference manual.

Scope FortiNAC-F v7.2.
