Description

This article describes how to process when FortiGuard Spam Filtering is not showing on the default Email Filter Profile.

Scope

FortiGate.

Solution

FortiGate is running in Transparent mode:

Email Filter does not show FortiGuard Spam Filtering options:

Go to System -> Setting then change the NGFW Mode from Policy-based to Profile-based:

Go back to the Email Filter Profile and change the Feature set to Proxy-based:

Once enabled, the FortiGuard Spam Filtering options will be visible:
