Description This article describes the limitations of FortiManager in regards to the maximum number of devices/VDOMs per ADOM.
Scope FortiManager.
Solution

There is no number of devices as a hard limit per ADOM: this does not exist in the FortiManager. However, there are general limitations in terms of how many devices/VDOMs the FortiManager can handle in total. If (by default) the ADOMs are not enabled, all of the devices go into a single ADOM -> the root ADOM.

Consider the datasheet, which states how many devices/VDOM's or ADOM's FortiManager supports. For a FortiManager VM, this limitation is 100,000 devices. As per the time of writing this article the current datasheet can be found here.

For all other per ADOM limitations in term of objects supported, consult the latest MAX value table. As of the time of writing this article, the current MAX value table can be found here.
