What does it means?

Hello everyone.

Can you please explicate me what is it.

In config-firewall-policy-edit:

fixedport - Enable to prevent source NAT from changing a session's source port.

If I understand correctly dport means destination port but explication says source port???

Is it right?

Thank you.

I think you just misread the concatenated word "fixedport". It's not "fixe-dport" but it's "fixed-port".
The more explanation is in this KB.

Hi

Yes that's right, it means the source port is preserved when doing NAT.

fixedport = fixed port.
