This article explains why users only see the MAC address under Top Vulnerable Endpoint Devices by Detected Vulnerabilities located in the FortiGate Security Dashboard or adding it as a widget to monitor.

Solution
To use this feature and get more information regarding the vulnerable endpoint device, it will be necessary to integrate the FortiGate with FortiClient EMS since information will be polled from FortiClient EMS.
If FortiGate is not integrated with FortiClient EMS, this could be an expected behavior. When Forticlient EMS is deployed, all endpoints will be managed in a centralized manner and you shall able to see more information when they are being managed.

The detection that happened to this MAC address might be due to the integration not being fully completed, supported, and inconsistent deployment of the endpoint in the network environment.
